Animals	are they allowed? No. Personally we adore animals. However, seeing that many areas are communal and some guests may not have the same feelings on the matter, to avoid unfortunate misunderstandings we do not allow animals
Banks	Are there any banks in the vicinity? Just over 2 km. away there are two banks in the village of Ponterio
Barbecue	Is there a barbecue? Yes, it’s free and for everyone (just let the Management know when you want to use it). Guests have to supply their own charcoal
Beds/cots	Can extra beds and cots be supplied on request? Yes
Bookings and payment	How are bookings made? By phone (+39 333 4950860) or via e-mail torriola@libero.it How much is the deposit? 20%. How can it be paid? By postal order or bank transfer. Do you accept credit cards? Yes, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and bancomat
Cancellations	How much does it cost to cancel a booking? Up to 45 days before arrival date, 20%; from 44 to 30 days, 30% and from 29 to 15 days, 50%. Less than 15 days before or if guests don’t show up, 80%
Cultural activities	Are there any museums in Todi? Yes, the Pinacoteca Municipale (Municipal Picture Gallery). What places are there to see? Todi (click here)
Deposit	Does a deposit have to be paid? Yes, 250 Euros, that is returned on leaving after the apartment has been checked for damage
Distances	How far is Todi? About 6 km. What is the nearest town? Pian di San Martino, about 1.2 km away, Roma about 130 Km., Firenze 200 Km, Siena 140 Km, Perugia 35 Km, Assisi 45 Km, Orvieto 35 Km.
Eating	Are there any restaurants in the vicinity? Yes, of every kind and to suit every pocket. With some we have an agreement. Does the Country Guest House organize dinners/lunches? Yes, as long as Guests give forewarning
Equipment	Is linen supplied? Yes: bed linen, blankets, bathroom towels and teacloths, oven gloves and plastic tablecloth for the kitchen. Hairdryers are available on request. Dishes? Cooking utensils? There are plenty for everyone (saucepans, frying pans, jugs, cutlery, corkscrews, tin openers, cheese grater). Fridge/freezer? The larger apartments have a combined fridge/freezer, the smaller ones have a fridge + ice compartment. Oven? Yes, a fitted electric oven. Coffee maker? Yes, a Moka. Land or satellite TV? Land TV in the apartments, satellite TV in the communal lounge. Washing machine? Yes, in the laundry room. Dishwasher? No, by choice: it is the electric appliance that pollutes more than any other..
Excursions/walks	Are there easy walks on foot? The dirt road just outside the gate is the start of a route that can be covered both on foot and by mountain bike. There are also several alternatives of varying degrees of difficulty, from very easy to quite demanding.
Garden	Are there deckchairs, beach umbrellas and tables? Each apartment is equipped with garden furniture (table and chairs) for personal use. In the communal areas (swimming-pool and solarium) there are beach umbrellas, sun-beds, deckchairs and tables
Heating	Independent/central? Each apartment has independent gas-fired heating
Local produces	What local products can be bought? Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and wine directly from producers
Means of transport	How does one get to La Torriola by train, by plane or by car? See heading “how to reach us”
Noise	Is the area noisy? If you consider the sound of birds singing as noise, yes
Outside lighting	Is the place lit at night? Yes, the outside lights come on automatically at dusk and go off at dawn
Post	Is there a post office in the area? Yes, about 1 km away, at Pian di San Martino
Rubbish recycling	Is rubbish recycled? Yes, the recycling bins are 2 km away.
Smoking	Are there apartments for non-smokers? No. Is smoking allowed in the apartments? It is tolerated, but it is firmly hoped that smokers will take advantage of the chance to smoke outdoors.
Sport facilities at La Torriola	Swimming pool 12m X 6m. Are there sun-beds/deckchairs? Yes. Is there a lifeguard? No. Are children allowed in the pool on their own? No, Children must be accompanied by an adult Is swimming allowed at night? Yes. Are swimming caps compulsory? No, but we prefer you to wear one. Can swimming towels be hired? Yes, see heading “Prices”. Are mountain bikes available? Yes, we have 4 and we can get more on request when we organize guided bike trips. Is there ping-pong? Yes. Are you ready for a tournament?
Sport facilities in the area	Is there a riding school? Yes, 12 km away. They organize lessons and excursions. A five-a-side football pitch? There are several, at Pian di San Martino, Ponterio and Todi. Tennis courts? Yes, at Todi. Golf course? At Perugia (18 holes) and at Lake Trasimeno (9 holes)
Telephone, Fax and the Internet	Is there a land phone? Yes, in each apartment. Is there cellular phone coverage? Yes. Is it possible to send and receive faxes? Yes. Is the Internet available? Yes, both in the apartments and the Reception area
CheckIn/CheckOut	What are the checking-in and checking-out times? You must check in between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and check out by 10 a.m.
Visitors	Can Guests invite visitors during their stay? Only if the Management is notified in good time and gives authorization. We are sure you will understand this apparently strict regulation, aimed above all at preserving the most important characteristic of La Torriola Country Guest House: its tranquillity. Not controlling nor limiting the number of people present could be detrimental not only to the comfort of our guests but also could violate safety regulations
Washing, hanging and ironing	Is it possible to wash clothes in the apartments? Absolutely not: there’s a fully equipped laundry room (with washing machine, washing lines, ironing board and iron). Where can clothes be hung out? Each apartment has a drying rack for personal use
Water	Is the water in the apartments drinkable? Yes, the water comes from the municipal aqueduct
